Two seconds after hitting the Play button I was already in love with this tune. The song goes straight to the point, no rodeos. It’s one of those Plug-and-Groove.

Classy hooks, excellent main guitar riff, solid pocket and soulful vocals.

Such a pity the band is not active anymore. They only have a couple of singles from 2018 in Spotify (check out “That Juice”, it is hot too) but that makes them even more a precious thing for a gem finder like me. 

I was already familiar with KONL’s music, the riff-maker, from his solo project so I asked him about it and he told me they were formed in 2016 and they played their first gig only 8 days before Prince died (RIP), but the project wasn’t feeling strong enough when the pandemic hit and disbanded.
