BEST OF 2024
It took me some time but, finally, here you have the definitive playlist with my favourite tracks of 2024!

This year has been especially abundant in terms of new discoveries, so you’ll probably find many unfamiliar artist’s names, hopefully at least some of them will become familiar soon enough.
I have to admit that I still haven't made up my mind about my favourite album of 2024. With indie and non-established artists taking more space than before in my selection, I noticed that many of my favourite songs aren't part of an album yet, they are isolated singles, part of a 3-4 tracks EP or the album is still to be released somewhere in the future, so unfortunately I’ve been unable to trace further some of the most promising discoveries. Despite that, I hope to get there soon and be sure I’ll let you know about my final choice.
Those of you who have been following this blog or my Substack since 2023 probably noticed that I haven’t kept the pace of the previous year and my entries have been much less frequent than they used to. In case you are wondering, it’s definitely not a lack of motivation or inspiration, but a shortage of time.
2024 was one of the busiest years ever on a personal level. Even though I chose to reduce my working hours in order to better balance my family and work life, at the same time for different circumstances I ended up getting involved in some new projects unexpectedly. Looking closer, there seems to be a pattern here, as all of them have something to do with community building and are centered in contributing and assisting members of a group rather than self focused. They all have proved enriching in many ways, as they took me to get familiar with different environments, meet interesting people, and to strengthen already existing relationships while I’m learning many new things in a variety of fields that are definitely broadening my understanding.
But my blog and playlists are still one of my favourite communities so I plan to keep contributing here too!
